  1. Mixed Features: this is associated with talking too much-increased energy and high self-esteem.
  2. Anxious Distress: this is a type of depression that comes with unnecessary worry, restlessness, and loss of concentration or control.
  3. Melancholic features: deals with early morning awakening, worsened mood, and feelings of guilt, agitation, or sluggishness.
  4. Psychotic features: this involves depression accompanied by delusions and hallucinations where there is personal inadequacy.

Signs Of Being Depressed

  1. Loss of interest: thinking a lot and having and being depressed about an issue can lead to a lack of interest in many things that initially got your attention. You can lose interest in friends, food, and hobbies.
  2. Sleeplessness: overthinking can have an effect on the brain and put pressure on your brain such that you might not be able to sleep at all.
  3. Changes in appetite, loss of appetite, and weight loss
  4. Mixed emotions can be a sign of depression. Feeling sad and the next moment feeling happy.
  5. Anxiety: Anxiety is mostly associated with fear, panic, obsession, and some traumatic stress. The symptoms are often severe as it is a mentally emotionally feeling that takes over the brain. One characteristic of a teenage adolescent is anxiety which can also lead to depression.

Symptoms Of Anxiety

  1. Sleeplessness: Not being able to sleep especially at night can be a result of feeling anxious about something. Overthinking changes your sleeping pattern because the brain keeps active as you put more pressure on it to think and this is why it does not respond to your body even if you wish to sleep. The sleepless night may continue as you keep thinking and this can take a long while depending on how you respond to your sentiments and emotional feelings.
  2. Worrying over little things is also a sign of anxiety.

  4. Reacting to little things that happen around you

There are 114 Surahs in the Quran each divided into verses. There are so many forms of Surah, but not all can aid depression and anxiety.
