Although orgone energy has been known and used by mankind for thousands of years, the scientific community has only recently begun to understand its functionality and potential.
But what exactly is orgone? And how is it different than “conventional” energy?
Orgone is the term used to describe the living energy in our universe. It is considered an element, yet it is also a part of all other elements as well.
While we can see and touch many types of atoms, such as those found in rocks or water, orgone has no physical properties that we can detect with our physical bodies.

Then, through a process called prana (life force), it combines with the Earth’s atmosphere and natural elements to form a type of energetic soup that surrounds us at all times.
How Orgone Works
Orgone energy (orgone) is a universal life force said to be present in all organic and inorganic matter.
The concept was first proposed and named by Dr. Wilhelm Reich, who conducted experiments with what he called “bonus energy” or “orgone energy.”
He hypothesized that it was the primordial cosmic energy from which everything originated. According to Reich, orgone is a basic constituent of the universe and can be harnessed for a variety of uses, such as healing
Reich’s theory is that the body produces orgone, which accumulates in the tissues, and if blocked causes disease.

Dr. Reich wrote about orgone in his book The Cancer Biopathy and published his findings on its properties and functions in several volumes of the International Journal of Sex-Economy and Orgone Research.
He also developed various devices he called “orgone accumulators,” which were intended to capture orgone from the atmosphere and direct it into the body, as well as “cloudbusters,” large boxes which he said could produce rain through the excitation of atmospheric orgone.
His theories have been met with skepticism by much of the scientific community, but there is an ongoing research effort into these topics.
