Can I Use Baking Soda And Maple Syrup to Treat Cancer?: The Complete Guide
Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) is a natural substance with a variety of uses. It has an alkalizing effect, which means it reduces acidity.
You may have heard on the internet that baking soda and other alkaline foods can help prevent, treat, or even cure cancer. But is this true?

Cancer cells thrive in an acidic environment. Proponents of the baking soda theory believe that reducing the acidity of your body (making it more alkaline) will prevent tumors from growing and spreading.
Proponents also claim that eating alkaline foods, like baking soda, will reduce the acidity of your body. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. Your body maintains a fairly stable pH level regardless of what you eat.
Baking soda can’t prevent cancer from developing. There is, however, some research suggesting that it might be an effective complementary treatment for people who have cancer.
This means you could use baking soda in addition to, but not instead of, your current treatment.

All the healing powers of maple syrup:
-
In combination with baking soda, it can prevent cancer!

The combination of these two ingredients alkalizes the body, which drastically reduces the risk of developing a malignant disease

Sweetening food can be inconvenient if you are trying to regulate your diet. Pure, natural sugar such as pure maple syrup may seem like the perfect healthy substitute, and in fact, pure maple syrup has something more to offer in terms of nutrition. It is still mostly sugar, so it should be treated that way if it is added to food.

How are maple syrup and health-related?
-
Maple syrup is what you get when you boil water juice from a sweet maple tree several times. Maple syrup must have at least 66 to 67% sugar content by weight and must be produced from pure sweet maple juice in order to be called pure maple syrup.
-
Pure maple syrup has been subjected to nutritional testing since 2010 when it was reported that several compounds were found in Canadian syrup that is beneficial for human health. These compounds have been found to include phenols, which are the same antioxidants in berries.
-
Maple syrup is mostly used as a medicine due to its phenol content. Researchers from the University of Rhode Island have found more than 20 compounds in maple syrup that are related to human health. Many of these antioxidants have antitumor, anti-diabetic, and antibacterial properties. These researchers also recently discovered that maple syrup is a source of phenol, a class of antioxidants found in berries.
-
Phenols are compounds that include elements such as flavonoids. You usually hear about them in stories about berries and grapes, and the listed compounds should have a beneficial effect on health.
No matter what nutrients it contains, keep in mind that maple syrup is still basically liquid sugar. So, it is not something that you can eat in large quantities as a healthy food.
Maple syrup is still full of carbohydrates, for example, so if you are diabetic or at risk for developing diabetes, you must be very careful how much maple syrup you consume.
Maple Syrup Calories
-
The main components of maple syrup are sucrose and water, with smaller and different amounts of simple sugars glucose, and fructose. The nutritional value of maple syrup in 100 grams is 260 calories, 0.04 grams of protein, 0.06 grams of fat, and 67.04 grams of carbohydrates. Of the total carbohydrates, 60.44 grams can be attributed to sugars, with zero grams of dietary fiber.
Minerals Maple syrup
-
is high in manganese and zinc content, 100 grams of syrup offers 22% and 3.7% of the recommended daily values of these minerals, respectively. Manganese is an important cofactor for several enzymes needed for energy production and antioxidant defense. Zinc is necessary for the optimal function of the immune system. Deficiencies of these minerals can reduce the number of white blood cells and then reduce the response of the immune system. Compared to honey, another common sweetener, maple syrup has less sodium, which makes it suitable for diets that require low sodium intake. Maple syrup has 15 times more calcium than honey.
Vitamins In addition to its mineral content, pure maple syrup is a source of several vitamins. Vitamins are organic nutrients essential for cell function.
The most important vitamins in maple syrup include niacin, B5, B2, folic acid, B6, biotin, and vitamin A. B vitamins help in the energy metabolism of the cell.
B5 is a component of an important enzyme that enables the release of energy from energy nutrients. Vitamin B6 is important in the metabolism of proteins and amino acids and enables the conversion of one type of amino acid into another type that is needed in larger quantities.
Vitamin A is important for vision and for maintaining the skin and mucous membranes of the body, such as the gastric mucosa.

Maple syrup diet
-
The maple syrup diet aims, above all, to detoxify the body and lead to rapid weight loss. This diet is based on consuming a mixture of maple syrup, lemon juice, mineral water, and allspice (recipe: 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, 2 teaspoons of maple syrup, 2 dl of water, and a pinch of allspice) – with starvation! You need to drink 6-12 glasses of this “magic” weight loss drink during the day.
-
In this diet, maple syrup has a role to provide calories and sugar (glucose), while lemon juice strengthens immunity, mineral water prevents dehydration and red ground (hot) pepper speeds up metabolism and calorie consumption.
The diet with maple syrup works on the principle that you lose weight because your daily calorie intake is reduced. This diet is usually applied for 10 days, and according to the data, 1 kg can be lost per day.
There is also a milder version of the diet with maple syrup, which means eating normally, taking care to eat healthier, but consuming the above mixture with maple syrup instead of breakfast or dinner.
After this diet, you should slowly return to a solid food diet, by consuming as much fluid as possible after the diet, and you will slowly introduce solid foods into your diet.
A diet with maple syrup has the appearance of constipation as a side effect, so it is recommended to consume laxative tea.
Maple syrup and baking soda as a medicine
-
Medical baking soda (without aluminum) is a safe, cheap, and above all effective way to treat cancer. Baking soda drastically increases the alkalinity of the body, which delivers more oxygen to cancer cells than they can handle. The fact is that the cancer cells cannot survive in conditions of high concentration of oxygen in the blood. Research has confirmed that baking soda does affect the PH balance of cancer cells.
Maple syrup and baking soda as a cure for cancer are gaining in popularity
-
This treatment is a combination of 100% pure maple syrup and baking soda without the addition of aluminum. The maple syrup targets cancer cells that consume up to 15 times more glucose than normal cells, into which baking soda is then drawn with its help.
-
As baking soda is extremely alkaline, it is the main substance in the fight against cancer, while in this case maple syrup is a “carrier” that brings baking soda into the cancer cell.
If you are wondering what quantities are used, a teaspoon of baking soda (not overfilled) is mentioned, and the ingredients in the bowl are mixed in a ratio of 1: 3 (one part baking soda with three parts maple syrup).
No water is added to this medicinal mixture! Also, do not mix baking soda and maple syrup in an aluminum bowl, but use a steel or copper bowl!
Preparation
-
Stir the mixture at a low temperature for 5-10 minutes, then cook it at a temperature of 120 degrees and increase the temperature by 5-10 degrees every following day, until the mixture burns slightly. Then lower the temperature by 5-10 degrees and that will be your constant cooking temperature. Cook the mixture for 5-10 minutes each time.
It goes without saying that this medicine alone will not bring effective results against cancer if you do not regulate your diet at the same time, in the sense of eliminating meat, sugar, and white flour.
